DISCLAIMER:
By booking a reservation with BEACH HOUSE
RENTALS OF DESTIN, you are stating that you have
fully read, understand, and agree to the rental
policies listed herein the BEACH HOUSE RENTALS
OF DESTIN Rental Policies.
RESERVATIONS:
- Reservations
may be made up to one year in advance either
online by visiting www.destindays.com
or www.beachhousedestin.com
or toll free at 1-866-334-GULF (4853).
- All
reservations must be made by an adult over the
age of 25 with a valid credit card and this
adult must be staying in the property. A
minimum of one person over the age of 25 for
every two people staying in the property is
required if not a family vacation. No
chaperoned parties or vacationing students are
permitted and will be subject to immediate eviction
and forfeiture of both security deposit and
rental fees.
- Reservations
made under a false pretense will be subject
to eviction and forfeiture of rental fees.
- BEACH
HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN reserves the right to
make substitute accommodations for you if circumstances
demand.
ADVANCE RENTAL PAYMENT:
- Advance
Rental Payment of up to $500 for condos
and up to $1000 for houses is required at
the time of booking the reservation and may
be made only by a major credit card.
- Advance
payments are applied towards the total rental
amount, which is due 45 days prior to arrival.
All Advance Payments are held in an interest
bearing escrow account, where all interest will
accrue to BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN.
- To
avoid cancellation, Rental Payment balance is
due in full 45 days prior to check-in and may
be made by traveler's check, bank money
order, cashier's check, E-Check, or a major
credit card. We accept personal checks if received
45 days before arrival date.
CHANGE/ CANCELLATIONS:
- All
reservations that are not paid in full within
forty-five (45) days of the check-in date will
be cancelled and all advance payments will be
forfeited.
- A
fee in the amount of $30.00 will be charged
to change a reservation scheduled to arrive
greater than 45 days from the check-in date.
This change fee does not apply to guests looking
to extend their stay. Guests wanting to
make changes to a reservation scheduled to arrive
45 days or less from the check-in date must
contact our office as these changes can not
be guaranteed.
- All
reservations, excluding monthly rentals, cancelled
greater than forty-five (45) days prior to check-in
date will receive a full refund of any advance
payments, minus the administration fee and $50
cancellation fee. All reservations, excluding
monthly rentals, cancelled forty-five (45) days
or less prior to check-in date will forfeit
their Rental Payment and administration fee
unless BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN can procure
a similar guest reservation for that property
for the original rental duration or greater.
- For
monthly rentals, reservations cancelled greater
than ninety (90) days prior to check-in date
will receive a full refund of any advance payments,
minus administration fee and a $50 cancellation
fee. Monthly rentals cancelled ninety
(90) days or less prior to check-in date will
forfeit their Advance Payment and administration
fee.
- Early
departures for any reason, including but not
limited to inclement weather, will not
warrant a refund of any advance payments
or rent.
If the National Weather Service issues a Hurricane
Warning (NOT Tropical Storm Warning) for the
Destin area, currently registered guests will
be refunded any unused portion of rent from
the time they check-out of the property. Guests
scheduled to arrive during a Hurricane Warning
may either shorten their stay to come in after
the warning is lifted and will be refunded any
unused portion of rent or they can choose to
cancel their reservation in its entirety and
receive a full refund of any advanced payment
minus a $50 cancellation fee. However,
if no hurricane warning is issued specific to
the Destin area, and you choose to cancel your
reservation, you will loose your Advance Payment.
'PEACE OF MIND' DAMAGE WAIVER:
- A
Damage Waiver will be collected on each
reservation. This 'Peace of Mind'
Damage Waiver provides for up to $2000 of
non-intentional damage to the property
and is non-refundable. The person named
on the reservation and all guests staying in
the property will be covered for reported accidental
loss or damage up to the maximum coverage limit.
This does not negate your responsibilities as
a tenant. You must notify BEACH
HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN of ANY damage to the
unit during your occupancy or this plan is void.
- The
Damage Waiver does not cover theft, gross negligence,
willful or wanton conduct, intentional damage,
damage to a golf cart, damage caused by a golf
cart, lost keys, swimming pool passes, club
cards, gate cards, excessive wear and tear,
additional cleaning fees, unauthorized late
check-outs, pets, smoking, or any other violation
of our rental policies. Additionally,
you authorize BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN
to charge the credit card on file with any additional
damage payments.
CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT:
- BEACH
HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN utilizes a self check-in
process for the convenience of our guests. Check-in
is 4 P.M. CST and check out is NO LATER THAN
10:00 A.M. CST. Please be respectful of
these times as inspection, cleaning and maintenance
crews are required to follow strict scheduling.
During peak seasons and holidays, there is a
possibility that a unit will not be ready by
4PM. We greatly appreciate your patience
as we are working hard to ensure your property
is properly cleaned and meets our quality standards.
SMOKING:
- Smoking
is not allowed in or around rental properties.
- Violation
of the No Smoking Policy will result in immediate
eviction, forfeiture of rent, and extra charges
for restoring the property to its original condition.
Smoking violations are not covered under the
"Damage Waiver".
PETS:
- Pets
are limited to 2 dogs 25lbs or less and are
only allowed in pet friendly properties and
only after a non-refundable pet fee has been
collected.
- Violation
of our Pet Policy will result in immediate
eviction, forfeiture of rent, and any extra
charges for restoring the property to its original
condition. Pet violations are not covered under
the "Damage Waiver".
KEYS:
- A
service fee of $50 will be charged to the
credit card on file if BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF
DESTIN is called to unlock a unit due to a guest
being locked out after 6PM. A fee of $80
will be charged for each lost property key.

KITCHEN:
-
All
rental properties have a fully equipped kitchen
with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher
(most properties), microwave, coffee maker,
blender, toaster, pots, pans, cooking utensils,
baking sheets, baking dishes, glassware, dishware
and flatware.
GRILLING:
- Grilling
is only allowed in designated areas for condos.
Grilling on balconies of condos is NOT allowed
and will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture
of rent. Please clean community grills after
each use.
- For
those properties with grills, it is the
responsibility of the guests to clean the grill
after each use and prior to check-out to avoid
additional fees.
CLEANING:
- Rental
units will be cleaned to quality standards prior
to your arrival as well as after your departure.
No daily maid service is provided. Please
try to maintain units as if they were your own.
Renters are responsible for the cleaning
of the unit during their stay and for leaving
the unit in good condition at check-out. If
units are found abnormally dirty at check-out,
additional charges will be charged to your credit
card.
FURNISHINGS AND LINENS:
- All
rental properties have color TV's, DVD players,
irons, ironing boards, linens and towels. All
linens, including towels, blankets, comforters
and pillows are to be used in the unit
only and should not be taken to the beach. You
should bring your own beach towels with you.
Please rinse and dry prior to sitting on any
furniture. Lotions and oils will leave stains.
Rearranging furniture or removing any items
from the property is prohibited. Some owners
provide beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas for
use by BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN guests.
You may want to arrive at the property and review
the beach items before making any ourchases.
No guarantees on beach items can be made by
BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN.
QUESTIONS/ COMPLAINTS:
- The
property owners and management work hard to
ensure that the rental property and its amenities
are in place and in good working order. Management
will be available to handle questions, complaints
and supervise maintenance. In case of
a maintenance problem, management will strive
to have the problem repaired as soon as possible
after being notified. However, no refund
or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen
failures such as the supply of electricity,
water, pool and spa equipment, air conditioning,
telephone, television or cable service, appliances,
etc. It is guest's obligation to report
any problems or damage immediately to management.
RATES AND AMENITIES:
- RATES
& AMENITIES ON DESTINDAYS.COM ARE SUBJECT
TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
- Thanksgiving
and Christmas holiday reservations will include
a 10% increase to the currently listed rates.
- Rates
on destindays.com do not include cleaning fees
for those reservations booked less than seven
(7) nights.
- Rates
on destindays.com do not include rental tax.
- Rates
on destindays.com do not include the $45
non-refundable administration fee.
- Rates
on BEACH HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN.com do not
include the “Piece of Mind” damage
waiver.
- Reservations
scheduled to check-in during the months
of March through October are entitled to
free amenities offered by local area vendors
that have an agreement with BEACH HOUSE RENTALS
OF DESTIN and our guests. Each reservation
will be issued an Amenity Card and coupons that
will entitle them tofree or discounted services
from participating vendor. Details about the
amenity program and current participating vendors
can be found at www.destindays.com.
RENTER RESPONSIBILITY:
- Guests
are responsible for the property, its contents,
and themselves during occupancy. Guests
must lock windows and doors securely when not
on the premises. Each property is privately
owned, so furnishings, décor, colors
and inventories may change. Locked
closets or cabinets are maintained by owners
for personal use. Please respect these areas.
- It
is further understood that exceeding the maximum
occupancy will result in immediate eviction
and forfeiture of rent.
- The
renter named in this agreement will be responsible
for ensuring that both themselves and all guests,
whether they are registered in the rental unit
or not, adhere to the rules and regulations
affecting the building and/ or community that
you are staying in.
- The
renter acknowledges that management, property
owners, and employees do not carry personal
liability insurance and can not be held responsible
regardless of fault, for any accident, loss,
damage or injury suffered by the renter, members
of their party or any other guests which the
renter or their party have allowed access to
the property, regardless if said loss is a result
directly or indirectly from acts of nature,
danger incident to the sea, any body of water,
fire, breakdown of machinery, equipment, acts
of government or other authorities, delays or
cancellations of or changes in itineraries or
schedule or from acts of omission of any airline.
- Furthermore,
the renter will release and hold harmless any
and all parties involved with the rental, management,
and reservations of the property and to release
and hold harmless it's owners or representatives
for any loss or damage to personal property
or for any injury and/or death.
- Representatives
of management or owners may enter the premises
at any reasonable time to make repairs. Management
will not be held responsible for acts of theft
or vandalism or other damages to the guests'
personal items left in the unit. Neither
management, nor the owner is responsible for
personal items left on the premises by guest
upon departure. Units may not be sublet.
BEACH
HOUSE RENTALS OF DESTIN is the acting agent of
the property owner and reserves the right to make
exceptions to the above policies at any time for
the best interest of the property owner(s).
