DISCLAIMER:
By booking a reservation with Destin Days, you are stating that you
have fully read, understand, and agree to the rental policies listed
herein the Destin Days Rental Policies.
RESERVATIONS:
· Reservations may be made up
to one year in advance either online by visiting www.destindays.com or www.beachhousedestin.com or toll free at 1-866-334-GULF
(4853).
· Reservations must be made
by an adult over the age of 25 with a valid credit card and this adult
must be staying in the property. A minimum of one person over the age
of 25 for every two people staying in the property is required. No chaperoned
parties or vacationing students are permitted and will be subject to
immediate eviction and forfeiture of both security deposit and rental
fees.
· Reservations made under a
false pretense will be subject to eviction and forfeiture of rental
payment.
· Destin Days reserves the right
to make a substitute accommodation for you if circumstances demand.
ADVANCE RENTAL PAYMENT:
· Advance rental
payment of $500 for condos and $1000 for houses is required at the time
of booking the reservation and may be made only by a major credit card.
· Advance
rental payments are applied towards the total rental amount, which is
due 45 days prior to arrival. All advance
payments are held in an interest bearing escrow account, where all interest
will accrue to DESTIN DAYS.
· To avoid cancellation, rental payment balance is due in full 45 days prior to check-in and may be made by personal check, traveler's check, bank money order, cashier's check or E-Check.
CHANGE/ CANCELLATIONS:
· Reservations that are not
paid in full within forty-five (45) days of the check-in date
may be subject to cancellation and all
rental payments may be forfeited.
· All reservations within 45
days of the check-in date may not change properties. All reservations
within 45 days of the check-in date may not change reservation dates
unless arriving on an earlier date or extending the reservation.
· All reservations, excluding
monthly rentals, cancelled greater than forty-five (45) days prior to
check-in date will receive a full refund of any
rental payments, minus the administration fee and
a $50 cancellation fee. All reservations, excluding monthly rentals,
cancelled forty-five (45) days or less prior to check-in date will forfeit
their rental payment and administration fee unless Destin Days can procure
a similar guest reservation for that property for the original rental
duration or greater.
· For monthly rentals, reservations
cancelled greater than ninety (90) days prior to check-in date will
receive a full refund of any rental payments, minus
the administration fee and a $50 cancellation fee. Monthly rentals cancelled
ninety (90) days or less prior to check-in date
will forfeit their rental payment and administration fee unless Destin
Days can procure a similar guest reservation for that property for the
original rental duration or greater.
· For monthly
rentals, reservations within 90 days of the check-in date may not change
properties.
· Early departures for any reason,
including but not limited to inclement weather, will not warrant the
refund of any rent.
· If the National Weather Service
issues a Hurricane Warning (NOT a Tropical Storm Warning) for the Destin
area, currently registered guests will be refunded any unused portion
of rent from the time they check-out of the property. Guests scheduled
to arrive during a Hurricane Warning may either shorten their stay to
come in after the warning is lifted and will be refunded any unused
portion of rent or they can choose to cancel their reservation in its
entirety and receive a full refund of any
rent minus the administration fee and
a $50 cancellation fee. However, if no hurricane warning is issued specific
to the Destin area, and you choose to cancel
your reservation, you will forfeit your rental
payment.
DAMAGE WAIVER:
· A
Non-Refundable Damage Waiver fee ($35-$60) will be collected on each
reservation. This Damage Waiver provides for up to $2000
of non-intentional damage to the unit. The person named on the reservation
and all guests staying in the property will be covered for reported
accidental loss or damage up to the maximum coverage limit. This does
not negate your responsibilities as a tenant. You must notify Destin
Days of any damage to the unit during your occupancy or this plan is
void.
· The Damage Waiver does not
cover theft, gross negligence, willful or wanton conduct, intentional
damage, lost keys, swimming pool passes, club cards or gate cards, excessive
wear and tear, unauthorized late check-outs, pets, smoking, or any other
violation of our rental policies. Additionally, you authorize Destin
Days to charge the credit card on file with any additional damage costs.
CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT:
· DESTIN DAYS utilizes a self
check-in process for the convenience of our guests.
· Check-in is 4 P.M. CST and
check out is NO LATER THAN 10:00 A.M. CST. Please be respectful of these
times as cleaning / maintenance crews are required to follow strict
scheduling. During peak seasons and holidays, there is a possibility
that a unit will not be ready by 4PM. We greatly appreciate your patience
as we are working hard to ensure your property is properly cleaned and
meets our quality standards.
PRIVATE POOLS AND SPAS:
· Some homes have private pools
and spas that can be heated for an additional fee. Spas
attached to pools will be disabled during the off season and can only
be heated with the pool and for an additional fee. Destin Days
reserves the right to disable heaters if overnight temperatures are
forecasted to be below 40 degrees.
SMOKING:
· Smoking is
not allowed in or around rental properties. Smoking policy violations
are not covered under the damage waiver.
· Violation of the No Smoking
policy will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of rent, and extra
charges for restoring the property to its original
condition.
PETS:
· Pets are limited to 2 dogs,
25lbs or less and are only allowed in pet friendly properties and only
after a non-refundable pet fee has been collected. Pet policy violations
are not covered under the damage waiver.
· Violation of our pet policy
will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent and extra charges
for restoring the property to its original condition.
LOCKOUTS:
· A service fee of $50 will
be charged to the credit card on file if Destin Days is called to a
property due to a guest being locked out after 6PM. A fee of $80 will
be charged for each lost property key. Do not copy keys.
GRILLING:
· Grilling is only allowed in
designated areas for some condominiums. Grilling on balconies of
any condo is not allowed and will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture
of rent.
· For properties
with grills, it is the responsibility of the guests to clean the grill
after each use and prior to check-out to avoid additional fees.
Keep grills covered when not in use.
KITCHEN:
· All rental properties have
fully equipped kitchens including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave,
dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots, pans, cooking utensils,
baking sheets, baking dishes, glassware, dishware and flatware.
FURNISHINGS:
· All properties are equipped
with TVs, DVD player, high speed internet access,
telephone, washer and dryer, iron and
ironing board. It is prohibited to rearrange furniture. Locked
closets are maintained by home owners for personal use. Please respect
these areas. Some owners provide beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas for
use by Destin Days guests. You may want to arrive at the property and
review the beach items before procuring additional items. No guarantees
on beach items can be made by Destin Days.
LINENS AND TOWELS:
· Destin Days provides all
linens including sheets, towels, blankets, comforters and pillows.
These items are to be used in the property only and should never be
taken to the beach. These items are inventoried after every reservation
and the cost to replace missing or damaged linens, pillows, etc. will
be charged to the credit card on file. We recommend you bring
your own beach and pool towels with you.
CLEANING:
· Rental units will be cleaned
to quality standards prior to your arrival as well as after your departure.
No daily maid service is provided. Please try to maintain properties
as if they were your own. Renters are responsible for the cleaning of
the property during their stay and for leaving the property in good
condition at check-out. If a property is found abnormally dirty during
the check-out inspection, an additional
cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
QUESTIONS/ COMPLAINTS:
· Property owners and management
work hard to ensure the rental property and its amenities are in place
and in good working order. Management will be available to handle questions,
complaints and supervise any needed
maintenance. In case of a maintenance issue, management will strive
to have the problem repaired as soon as possible after being notified.
However, no refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen failures
such as the supply of electricity, water, pool filtration systems, air
conditioning, telephone, television or cable service, appliances, etc.
It is guest's obligation to report any problems or damage immediately
to management.
RATES AND AMENITIES:

ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
· Thanksgiving and Christmas
holiday reservations will include a 10% increase to the currently listed
rates.
· Rates on destindays.com do
not include cleaning fees. Cleaning fees vary.
· Rates on destindays.com do
not include rental tax.
· Rates on destindays.com do
not include any non-refundable administration fees.
· Rates on destindays.com do
not include the non-refundable damage waiver.
· Guests of Destin Days
are entitled to free amenities offered by local area vendors that have
setup an agreement with Destin Days and their guests. Each reservation
will be issued a “Complimentary Amenity Card” that will entitle
them to one free service from each participating vendor. Some amenities
are seasonal and may not be available year round.

RENTER RESPONSIBILITY:
· All guests are responsible
for the property, the contents of the property and themselves during
occupancy. Guests must lock windows and doors securely when not on the
premises and at check out. Each property is privately owned, so décor,
colors and inventories may change without notice. Rearranging the furniture
or removing any items from the unit is prohibited.
· It is further understood that
exceeding the maximum occupancy will result in immediate eviction and
forfeiture of rent.
· The renter named in this agreement
will be responsible for ensuring that both themselves and all guests,
whether they are registered in the rental unit or not, adhere to the
rules and regulations affecting the building and/ or community in which
you are staying.
· The renter acknowledges that
management, property owners, and employees do not carry personal liability
insurance and can not be held responsible regardless of fault, for any
accident, loss, damage or injury suffered by the renter, members of
their party or any other guests which the renter or their party have
allowed access to the property, regardless if said loss is a result
directly or indirectly from acts of nature, danger incident to the sea,
any body of water, fire, breakdown of machinery, equipment, acts of
government or other authorities, delays or cancellations of or changes
in itineraries or schedule or from acts of omission of any airline.
· Furthermore, the renter will
release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental,
management, and reservations of the property and to release and hold
harmless it's owners or representatives for any loss or damage to personal
property or for any injury and/or death.
· Representatives of management
or owners may enter the premises at any reasonable time to make repairs.
Management will not be held responsible for acts of theft or vandalism
or other damages to the guests' personal items left in the unit. Neither
management, nor the owner is responsible for personal items left on
the premises by guest upon departure. Units may not be sublet.
DESTIN
DAYS is the acting agent of the property owner and reserves the right
to make exceptions to the above policies at any time for the best interest
of the property owner(s).
